That is a great question. The new steam washer and dryer will clean much more efficient than most washer and dryers out there. If you shoot steam at cloth it will go through the cloth.If you shoot water at the same cloth, it will hit the cloth and wet the cloth. This means that dirt and grease will clean better in a steam washer. But the amazing thing about a steam washer or dryer is that,you can take a shirt out of the dirty laundry basket.You can put it in the washer or dryer. 20 minutes steam ( it will take the body odor and body oils out of it).Let it hang for 20 min. Hello Ratina, A washer is a very sensitive machine. First, anytime you move or relocate a washer.Please check the manual.When you first get a washer. They usually come with shipping bolts. Always transport the washer with these bolts intact. After you move the washer they must be leveled. Other wise the washer will make noise and bounce all over the place. What was level at one place might not be leveled at another place. The floor could be different. Check to see if the rubber feet are on the legs    « less
